Horizon Science Academy Cleveland High School Dance Troupe

Horizon Science Academy Cleveland High School, a blue ribbon winner charter school managed by Concept, has a dance troupe that focuses on Folk dances from various cultures. The troupe consists of 7 female high school students who have been dancing together for the past two years.

The Pritzker College Prep Jazz Band

The Pritzker College Prep Jazz Band is one of the premiere performing groups in the Noble Network of Charter Schools. Although the majority of students have only been playing for a few years, they have already won several awards, and have travelled as far as Boston, MA to compete nationally.

Urban Prep Academies is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates a network of all-boys public schools including the country's first charter high school for boys. Urban Prep's mission is to provide a high-quality and comprehensive college-preparatory educational experience to young men that results in our graduates succeeding in college. 100% of Urban Prep's inaugural graduating class has gained admission to a four-year college or university.

Youth Connections Charter Poetry Slam

Youth Connection Charter School in partnership with Young Chicago Authors and its Louder Than A Bomb poetry festival, has used Spoken Word activities as a strategy to enhance student engagement and ownership in the learning process. The credit is in English, the achievement is in character. Many have graduated and gone on to college success because they could call themselves, "Poet".

The Pritzker College Prep Symphonic Band

The Pritzker College Prep Symphonic Band is the largest performing group in the Noble Network of Charter Schools. Although, over 90% of the students just began playing in the last three years, they have already won several "Superior" ratings at the Chicago All-City Music Festivals.

Betty Shabazz International Charter School's highly-acclaimed Azania Drum and Donia Dance Ensembles specialize in professional, high-energy performances that preserve traditions of the African Diaspora and express social consciousness. While the Shabazz curriculum exposes all students to the richness of their culture through art, music and dance classes, the Ensembles enjoy sharing these traditions with the public through city-wide performances.
